Early Bird Discount: Early Bird pricing is in effect until July 31st. If you do not manage to obtain an early bird pass, there are other options for getting discounts. See the Referral Refund and Volunteer Discount below.

Referral Refund: $20 for each paid 1st-timer* referral. For each 1st-timer* who lists you as someone who referred them during online registration only, you get $20 off a full weekend registration. You pay the full price when you register and receive your referral refund amount back at the door. The maximum you can get back at the door is the amount you paid for registration. The referred person must enter your name in the registration form online and have paid for the workshop. No retro-active referrals after registration will be allowed. No circular referrals. A 1st-timer* may only say they were referred by one person.

Group Rate: For groups of 8 or more, we offer a $10 group rate refund. A minimum of 8 members of the group must register and have paid for any individual in the group to receive the group rate refund at the door. If there are not at least 8 group members registered, no refund will be issued. Contact us for details. No other discounts may be used in conjunction with a group rate refund.

Convenience Fee: If you pay for your registration online, a $3 convenience fee will be applied.

Checks: Checks can be made payable to “Swing Buffalo” and sent to Swing Buffalo, C/O Robert W. Leach, 365 West Utica Street, Upper Unit, Buffalo, NY 14222. There is no internet convenience fee when paying by check.

Bounced Check Policy: A check returned to us by our bank due to insufficient funds in your account will incur a $5 processing fee along with the $10 fee charged by our bank. The total bounced check fee is $15, payable by cash, money order or certified bank check. Note, registration will not be completed until fee is paid.

Registration Refund Policy: There will be a $5 processing fee for all refunds. All refund checks will be mailed, hence a valid mailing address must accompany the refund request. Refund requests must be made via email (from the email address you supplied during registration) or in person to Rob (see Contact page). If you ask for a refund by August 15th, you will get a 100% refund of your registration (see Shirt Refund Policy below). If you ask for a refund after August 15th, you get a 50% refund of your registration (see Shirt Refund Policy below). No refunds after September 15th.

Shirt Refund Policy: If you ordered a shirt and request a refund before the shirt has been made, the price of the shirt will be included in the refund calculation. If the shirt has already been produced, it will be sent to you. There will be no refunds on shirts that have been ordered and made.

Promotional Passes: Available for 1st-timers* only. Your name must be written on the remitted pass. Passes are distributed by Swing Buffalo at its own discretion.

Volunteer Discount: $10 off for each hour volunteered. You pay the full price when you register and receive your volunteer discount amount back after the workshop is over. Eligible volunteer time includes sitting at the registration table only. Must apply for volunteer time by contacting the volunteer coordinator (see contact page). Applying for registration table time does not guarantee you will have the opportunity to sit the table. Priority given to those who would otherwise not be able to attend.

All Discounts: Volunteer, Referral Refund, and Early Bird may be “stacked”. In other words, all discounts except the group rate are additive, however you cannot get back more money than you paid for your registration. You cannot make money using any of these discounts.

* A 1st-timer is someone who has not attended a SwingBuffalo workshop before (SBWW 2008, SBWW 2009, RS 2010, Balboa Workshop April 9th 2011).
