Thanks to feedback from our awesome attendees, we're continuously working on improving our lesson structure.
Ideal for dancers just getting started with Balboa or dancers who have been dancing Balboa a while but would still like to work on the basics. If you're at All Balboa Weekend taking the Beginner or Beginner Intermediate track, this is probably the level for you.
The Beginner Track will also include a social dance in the evening following classes, and admission to dances held September 13th and 14th!
Ideal for those dancers who have a solid foundation in Balboa and can comfortably perform the basic Balboa moves (come-around, toss-out, lollies, in-and-outs, etc) on the social dance floor. If you did Intermediate or Intermediate Advanced at ABW, then this is probably the level for you.
For those dancers who have been dancing Balboa for years and are able to play around with moves they see others do, as well as create their own. This track will focus on competition-level material and will move at a very fast pace. If you're aiming for Advanced or Advanced Plus at ABW, then this is probably the level for you.
Perfect for dancers who have danced Balboa for several years, and feel comfortable with styling and rhythm variations. Dancers may be teaching in their scene and competing at regional events. This track will focus on competition-level material and will move at a fast pace. If you have placed in Advanced Plus at ABW, this is probably the level for you.
This year, we're continuing our tradition of offering Mini-Group Privates - our small, intimate group lessons with one instructor, during which the instructor gets to dance with and watch each student and give personalized feedback. As per survey requests, we are limiting the number of spots available for these in order to keep the groups to a maximum of 4 people. These opportunities for individual feedback are available on a first come first served basis for $20.
